#557 is a Safeline Signature Gravity (also known as Slide) Metal Detector. This metal detector is suitable for those running batches of small products such as confectionery goods and bakery products due to the aperture being 1360mm wide and 75mm high.
On detection of metal within a product, there is a sound to notify the operator. The unit runs from right to left and the products move through the head by sliding down the constructed white ramp.
